From a time when Japanese guitars were simple, no-frills instruments, this plank delivers about what you’d expect—raw, full-throated tones, charmingly primitive workmanship, and a neck that manages to feel both hand-hewn (even if it wasn’t) and inviting, all at once. Two Ry Cooder-style gold foil pickups, simple but effective rocker switches provide for front, back or both pickups simultaneously. Tone circuit allows the user to go from punchy and piercing to electric mud with the turn of a dial. Comes with a non-original gigbag. Missing the vibrato arm. Sorry—Silvertone amp not included but is available separately. All this primitive cool can be yours! Sorry, SOLD!
