Once in a while, we come across a guitar that surprises us with its tonal possibilities, a guitar that shouldn’t sound good, but does anyway. A guitar that is unjustifiably obscure. As you probably guessed from the long build-up, this Italian-made, mid-sixties beauty is that kind of guitar. From its exaggerated, Strat-like contours to its vintage pickup selector buttons, this Galanti is as Italian as checkered tablecloths, linguini, and the strains of romantic accordion music. Somewhat surprisingly, it sounds great too—going from a nice, liquid surf tone to an ominous spaghetti western twang with the punch of a button (we’ve always wanted to write that in a description!). Plugged into a tube amp (maybe in conjunction with your favorite clean boost pedal), this guitar will surprise you with its many tonal possibilities. Plus, the kelly green finish, easily adjustable vibrato tailpiece, slim neck and elongated headstock are just so darn cool that we can’t get over ‘em. Start practicing your very own rendition of “Hang ‘em High” now. A few dings and some finish wear, otherwise 8/10. With newer gig bag.  SOLD!  Thanks Rafa!
