Times have been hard of late for Ramones fans, as the last surviving original member of that band, Tommy, died recently. Despite that discouraging turn of events, we do have one bit of good news for you Rock ‘n’ Roll High School fans—we just scored this very cool Japanese double-cut that will get you into the realm of Ramones-style primitive cool, a la the justly celebrated Johnny Ramone, but at a much more affordable price! The P-90 style pickups, three-ply pickguard, three-way toggle switch and elevated Univox logo suggest this guitar was manufactured prior to 1974, during the manufacturer’s most celebrated era. One minor crack on the bout near the neck joint that is both superficial and entirely stable. Minor wear and dings. Otherwise, this Hi-Flyer soars above the competition. Ships in a newer padded gigbag. SOLD
