Constructed of all solid woods, this guitar has benefitted from a recent professional neck reset. Its action is superb and the electronics function beautifully.
The great-sounding DeArmond gold-foil pickup produces an era-appropriate voice for “Moonlight in Vermont” or “Autumn Leaves.” But plug this guitar into your favorite overdrive and stand back — the guitar is transformed into a very serviceable barroom blues axe—throaty, with plenty of body, grit and sustain. There’s a reason that the best of these old Harmonys are climbing in price—this guitar is a gas to play and sounds terrific.
With the exception of a reproduction pickguard, this super-clean example is all original. Ships in a newer Epiphone-branded hardshell case. SOLD!
