This no-label, figured Koa and sunburst spruce-topped guitar has some of the most amazing mother-of pearl inlay you will ever see. The tone is rich in the bass frequencies and well balanced, with an overall mellow voice. Frets have been leveled and dressed and a pro set-up makes for nice low action and easy playability. The neck is a D profile with wide shoulders. Cloud inlays on the fingerboard evoke the Zen of the guitar’s likely origin somewhere in the Pacific Rim. A small crack alongside the fingerboard has been glued and reinforced. The satin poly finish has one scratch at the bridge, another near the neck joint, but there is no buckle damage or similar wear. Three-ply wood binding on body, inlaid headstock and wood-bound ebony fretboard, bone nut and saddle are other quality indicators that leave us wondering why there’s nobody’s name anywhere on the guitar to give credit where credit is due. Includes hardshell case. SOLD
