We bought this four-watt Harmony amplifier from the same seller that provided us with the very cool Orpheus guitar (see ad elsewhere on our site). If we were to describe the amp’s sonic signature, we’d say there’s adequate clarity and headroom, but the original 6” Jensen speaker really shines when cranked all the way up for maximum low-volume crunch. Also, this amp is UL-listed and, unlike the later H-303B model, it includes an isolating power transformer, meaning that it can safely be converted to use a grounded power cord. Buy this and the Orpheus guitar for a fearsome low-volume practice or garage-rock rig. Some minor wear on the tolex, else very good. Sold!
