This mid-1970s Princeton offers the entire package for a discerning player: turn up the volume past four and it provides a tight, round distortion with just a touch of sag. Roll back the volume and it cleans up nicely, allowing you to shape each muscular multi-string bend, slippery slide, or audience-pleasing trill into a personal sonic signature. A very responsive and transparent amp that sounds great clean and also plays well with pedals. Minor cosmetic wear to one corner of the grille cloth (see photo), else very good-plus condition. The original GE power tubes have plenty of life; the preamp tubes were recently replaced, else all original, including the Oxford speaker. All you need is a footswitch for a lightweight, high-performance amp. Sold!
