Finished in a subtly understated tangerine-fading-to-yellow sunburst, and built from quality components, including a two-piece Sitka Spruce top and bookmatched East Indian Rosewood back and sides, this Utah-built custom instrument features several tone- and performance-enhancing surprises under the hood. First, all of the tone bars were scalloped per Martin guitar specs, except the bass tone bars, which were specially scalloped for enhanced low end. Second, the neck is equipped with a two-way adjustable truss rod to increase stability. Finally, the frets were custom-installed, with the crown only showing on the fret edges. Finally, the eagle headstock overlay was meticulously constructed from Oregon hardwoods. Currently set up with a light gauge set of phosphor bronze strings, this aptly-named jumbo produces boundless highs and rib-rattling lows. With the passage of time and plenty of play, it promises to occupy an exalted position among your kingdom of guitars. At this low price, how can you afford to wait?
