A product of Gibson’s esteemed Custom Shop, this slightly downsized semi-hollowbody is visually attractive, ergonomic, and tonally superior.

Finished in a lustrous vintage-style tobacco sunburst, the guitar creates a classy visual impression that will inspire you to with the almost three-dimensional swirl of its figured, carved maple top before you ever play a single note.

Once you do begin playing, however, the CS-336’s compact body dimensions (13” x 16” x 1 11/16”) yield an instrument that’s comfortable to play regardless of whether you’re seated on a stool in a black-tie supper club or prowling the stage in a rowdy bar. Paired with the ’60s-style mahogany neck, and we would like to introduce to you an instrument designed to foster both late-night noodling and full-on shredding.

And as for the pickups? The two stock Classic ’57 humbuckers provide an attractive balance of sustain, girth and dimension. Dime the tone knob on the neck pickup for an elemental roar like Leslie West‘s. Then roll the tone pot back, lose the pick, and explore your jazzy side with some feathery octave figures. Repeat as necessary for hours of fun.

In near mint condition, with original hangtag and Gibson Custom Shop sticker still on the pick guard. Ships in a Gibson logo padded gig bag. SOLD!
