Finished in a lustrous midnight blue, this Rick appears virtually unplayed. Nonetheless, it’s a great sounding example of an iconic instrument. Whether your tastes run to chiming arpeggios or toothy overdrive, when you grip this guitar, you won’t be grasping for appealing classic tones. R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck, an influence on scores of guitarists for almost 30 years (was it really that long ago that a quirky little band from Athens, GA released its debut EP, Chronic Town?), has played a Rick 360 at almost every concert and on every album in the R.E.M. pantheon. Hey, if a 360 is good enough for “Radio Free Europe” and “Fall on Me," that’s more than enough endorsement for us! Two Hi-Gain ceramic-magnet single-coil pickups, black hardware, stereo output, varnished rosewood fingerboard on a three-ply maple/walnut neck. Comes with the original vintage-style grey Rickenbacker-badged case.
