Up until now, this American-made guitar has spent its life rarely venturing beyond open chords. However, like most Guilds we have encountered, the intonation is excellent in all positions and it yearns to be purchased by a dedicated player who will take advantage of the many tonal possibilities it can provide, if only called upon to do so. Solid spruce top and mahogany sides, with a laminated arched mahogany back. A very good value in a quality U.S.A.-made guitar that is no longer being manufactured. A few minor dings and a bit of pickguard customization that lends the guitar a touch of intrigue — just who are Amanda and Monique and why did the previous owner see fit to memorialize them on his or her guitar? (see photo) — else 8.5/10 condition. With well-used but still functional non-original molded case. SOLD!
