In our estimation, there are two kinds of ‘70s nostalgia: kitsch, as exemplified by puka shells, fondue pots, and massive belt buckles; and hip, as exemplified by Little Feat, The Rockford Files, and great-sounding guitars like this so-called “lawsuit” model Ibanez 2382. But be assured—this instrument offers more than the proverbial stroll down memory lane. It sports two highly desirable Super 70s pickups, a wide, slim neck profile, great access to the upper frets, a TOM-style bridge, and a highly functional Ibanez Bigsby-style tremolo. And unlike the notoriously wobbly necks on the “real” SG models from the ‘70s, the bolt-on neck lends this guitar a great deal of stability and abundant sustain. Original tuners replaced with a set of Grover Deluxes, else all original. With original, form-fitting case. A few of the usual minor dings, else 8.5/10 SOLD!
