Gibson’s venerated EB basses are known for their punchy, robust tones. Heck, the late (and much-missed) Jack Bruce developed his furious, endlessly inventive, frequently distorted sonic blueprint on a Gibson EB while entirely rewriting the rules of rock bass as a member of the ’60s supergroup Cream. This EB has a few dings and one case bite on the top edge (see photo) but is all original and is in very good overall condition. The finish retains its deep hue, there are no breaks, and the electronics function perfectly. The EB-0’s short scale allows for easy string bending, and the slim, ergonomic neck practically demands slippery scalar runs, fast chromatic passages, and monstrous double-stops. Includes original Gibson chipboard case. SOLD
