This sweet little 6-watter features the classic AA763 circuit—the one you’ve heard on countless recordings (it’s oft been rumored that Eric Clapton’s “Layla” was recorded on a pair or Champs). One thing is for sure—we smile every time we plug into this little gem. With a tweak or two of the volume knob, this amp will take you all the way from chimey British pop to crunchy power chords to bluesy leads. Or try our favorite trick: park the amp’s volume at 9 or 10, and ride your guitar’s volume knob to enjoy the smooth transition from clean to overdrive. SOLD.

The Jensen speaker dates to mid-1966, but the silver faceplate and the chrome drip edge around the baffle date the amp a bit later. We believe it to be from 1968. This amp’s in very good condition, and we’d love to see it find a home where it’s good looks and great tone will be appreciated.
